Last night (June 18, 2009) we went to a special dinner organized by a few of our host families (besonderes Bedanken möchte ich mich bei Frau Podiebrad). Each family brought homemade pizzas, calzones, and other wonderful meals to be baked in the community Backhaus (a small building with two fire ovens), which was built in 1838 and is used often today.

It was a great ending (we all left around 9:30-when it finally became dark) to a beautiful day. Great food and conversation.
